They have performed their live stage show for grade schools, high schools, colleges, Fortune 500 companies, and non-profit organizations. They have even given a TEDx talk.
Their message is battle tested”¦ They have received rave reviews, standing ovations, and have been featured in over 250 newspapers across the globe. Students have become more active in community service and have treated their peers equally as a result of just one performance.
The product that the Handicap This Productions team created is for both students and teachers. This online education tool brings streaming technology and practical in-classroom activities together in one amazing teaching resource. Teachers will access the information and distribute the information the best way they see fit.
We offer the show at two separate grade levels: One track is for high schools, the other for middle schools and junior high schools.
The high school product is a little more robust. It includes fully developed lesson plans, and uses social emotional learning strategies and common core concepts to fit all different kind of learning styles. Your students will be problem solving, opening up their vocabulary, and learning in a fun and entertaining way. The show can be broken into modules or viewed in its’ entirety. This is up to each teacher’s best judgment.
The middle school and junior high schools are provided thought provoking discussion questions and learning tools to engage all types of adolescences. There will also be some bonus material that Mike and Tim share that you won’t want to miss!
Each school will have access to this revolutionary educational product for one school year. There is an additional option to bring Mike and Tim into your classroom through a Skype Chat or a Google Hangout as well! This is perfect for disability awareness month or disability awareness in general, but is immensely useful in supporting a more inclusive school culture year round!
What is so incredible about this product is that it not only gives a strong platform and a voice for the students with disabilities, it opens the eyes of the able bodied students. The program is designed to create student advocates, special education advocates, and bring inclusion into every classroom.
Help Mike and Tim change the face of education and create a positive change in millions of students lives.
