own. Earlier this year, I made a short video on my views about disability with a few friends that are film majors at my college. The point of the video is to normalize disability in society. Often times people dismiss activism about disability because they don’t believe that we’re serious, or because they believe that disability isn’t “normal”. So, in our video we wanted to display the simple truth that people having disabilities is an everyday occurrence, and that’s okay- it is a part of people’s identity and something to be proud of.
