1 Down, 11 To Go!
Wow! That went fast. One month already gone in 2012 – only eleven more months left. Have you been checking in with your goals for the year?
We all have to remember that what gets measured gets managed. The most important thing we can do with our lives is to write down our goals on paper. When we physically write down our goals on paper something different happens. We create more neural pathways to our brains and effectively open new flood gates. Writing our goals down on paper isn’t enough though. The second most important thing we can do is review our goals – weekly, monthly, and quarterly. This is the “special sauce” that makes all the difference.
We want every one of you to have the BEST 2012 you can possibly have. In order to accomplish things you have never done, you have to think differently and act differently. You have to become a better you. You need to get out of your comfort zone:
Make that call you have been too afraid to make.
Begin that weight-loss journey you have been putting off until the time is just right.
Start that business you have been wanting to start.
Stop telling yourself you can’t!
I believe the universe rewards action, so you will not make your dreams come true sitting on the sidelines. You have to enter the arena. Positive thinking is great, but how about positive ACTION?
We have always heard that actions speak louder than words. Speak volumes with your actions. Move. Move forward towards your goals. Create positive momentum. Momentum is a powerful tool that works wonders when it is working for you, but it also can work against you. Don’t let it!
Your everyday decisions shape you. Are they shaping a masterpiece?
I subscribe to the theory that your life is either an example or a warning. Which one is yours?
Our lives on this planet are God’s gifts to us. What we do with our lives is our gift in return. We can’t get any days back in January, but February, March, April……. They are all blank slates.
Amazing things are just outside your comfort zone – are you willing to go for them?
Keep On Keeping On,
