The show was possibly the most important hour and a half I have ever spent in a theatre. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to get to “know” Mike and to go into his life and your life with him. You two have changed the understanding of our world and introduced a whole group of people to me that until then had only existed behind a wall – a wall I myself had allowed to grow. Walking into Handicap This! I wasn’t sure what to expect. After sitting down, I realized I never could have anticipated what this show would bring to the audience. As Tim and Mike began sharing their story, the audience quickly became a part of their relationship and would never view disabilities the same way. We laughed, we cried, we were shocked, and we were all grateful that they had the courage and the humor to bring us this show!
