Laugh Factory and Handicap This!
January 8, 2013
On Sunday, December 30th 2012, Mike and I were asked to perform a 20 minute set at the Laugh Factory. This was a special show as the proceeds from the ticket sales were going to help Hurricane Sandy victims. We were extremely excited for this opportunity. A big shout out to Kristopher Irizarry-Hoeksema for helping set up this event and for him contact us to be apart of it!
When we arrived we couldn’t help but notice that there was no ramp to get on stage. Luckily, there was only four small steps, we were prepared to have our “Entourage” help lift Mike onto the stage. That is why we always get to a gig 90 minutes before hand. Better safe than sorry is a great motto to have.
Mike is a natural performer and this night was no different. He was completely in his element and he had the crowd rolling in laughter. We will be creating a “Webisode” about our appearance at the Laugh Factory. Here is a great segue, starting on January 30th, Mike and I have created a special internet-based reality show for all of our viewers. It is kind of like “Keeping up with the Kardashians” except without all the whining, bitching, and Bruce Jenner. Seriously, we wanted to create something that would be like our show. Educational, Empowering, and Entertaining. We have done that with the help of our editor, Brett Morse-Karzen.
