Bedtime Prayer
June 29, 2012
Now I lay my walker to sleep,
I pray the Lord my wheels to keep,
From seizing and rusting all through the night,
From the puddles I jumped with all my might.
Keep it safe and in your hands,
While all through the night I make big plans,
To walk and leap and jump and run,
Because being active is so much fun!
Don’t let the steel turn different color,
Let it keep me safe (that’s from my mother).
Don’t let it wobble or make a weird noise,
‘Cause tomorrow I want to go play with the boys!!
